The PGC Consortium’s Mission:
The PGC Consortium’s mission is to be the security services provider of choice, for facilities,
organizations, institutions and Governments that are interested in the highest level of solutions
available to protect their employees and assets!
The PGC Consortium provides IT and Physical End-to-End Security Solutions.
At the front end, we provide world-class threat, risk, IT and Physical vulnerability assessments, Asset
Tracking and Crisis Management to mitigate our client’s risk, we customize our patented
proprietary Intelligence Processing Systems –
These completely scalable systems raise the capability level of even the most basic security
installations, and for the most demanding environments, our system sets the benchmark worldwide,
for secure facility capability.
The PGC Consortium solutions focus on 3 key areas:
1. The PGC Consortium cannot prevent attacks, but by hardening the physical and the IT
components of an organization, we can greatly reduce the likelihood that an incident or a direct
attack will penetrate or compromise the client’s ability to operate.
2. The PGC Consortium Intelligence Processing Systems provide an advanced capability for
managing and resolving the inevitable ongoing events, before any of these become a crisis.
3. The PGC Consortium in cases where an attack is successful, the incident management and
tracking components of our integrated systems enable clients to mitigate the situation as quickly as
possible!
Before 9/11, most large security requirements came from the government, and in some cases,
large industry –
These groups relied on the well-known large integrators to provide standardized solutions.
The integrators used their own resources and the available pool of technologies and products in
the security field.
Attention to threat, risk, IT and vulnerability was not a normal component of mainstream business.
The relatively small percentage of private sector organizations that sought solutions usually went
directly to ONE of the available products and services – for example a camera, tracking system or
an access control company. The single vendor then integrated solutions. In even fewer cases, the
organization had a security director, and this person would drive any integration.
Times Have Changed!
Threats are not just of natural disasters anymore…entire industries, individual companies, and
even executives have become targets simply for what their company produces, or what they
represent.
The number of ways an organization can be crippled continues to increase with growth. Moreover,
the number of ways that those risks can be accessed increases as well. And as more and more
leaders are being held accountable for the results of incidents in their organizations,
The pressure is on to step into this opportunity and create a new industry role,
The PGC Consortium executed 2 key strategies.
1. These were to establish a proprietary product; that will gain industry respect.
2. To develop a consortium of “World Class Bench Mark” companies joined in vision,
commitment, and passion, “To Make a Difference”.
The PGC Consortium proprietary product is really a strategy – to create what clients have asked for,
but no one had delivered yet –
a completely integrated, end-to-end security and response capability.
The PGC Consortium INTELLIGENCE PROCESSING STRATEGY is actually a:
Suite of individually developed; and operationally proven, working software components…
- There are Six (6) Key modules…
1. Our first focus is to identify the facility; then assess it for both IT and Physical security,
before beginning the assembly and structure for the implementation of our Intelligence Processing
Systems.
2. For environments requiring the high levels of security, The PGC Consortium utilizes its
unique RFID designed active sensor component system; to track movement of the client’s assorted
assets, including Employees and Equipment, within a defined area or facility. This area, extended
for thousands of miles, or to thousands of differently coded identifiers, if necessary.
3. The automated planning component is a visually based tool, which enables organizations
to input their existing event and incident response plans, modify, or create new plans from scratch.
The planner, which functions as the foundation of the system, , links in all supporting data to each
plan, including contacts, variable response rules, supporting documentation and images, and
more.
4. The alert function using active, intelligent chips and software, which can be triggered
automatically or manually to execute all modes of communication according to the specific
event or incident plan, tracks team availability, response personnel and timing, etc.
5. The manager is the dashboard that can simultaneously display incident plans, team
members’ activities, task lists, supporting information, and new information as it comes in – it gives
the incident managers a complete view of the event, all activities, and the ability to modify the
response on the fly.
6. Our planned phase 2 incorporates a robust simulation, training, and certification engine
that will help ensure clients preparedness, and provide verifiable incentives for insurance
companies to provide discounts to pro-active organizations.
With these components in place The PGC Consortium System can operate stand-alone, providing
organizations with an automated support engine to mitigate events and incidents in the most
consistent and efficient manner possible.
From here however; The PGC Consortium System can be scaled up, by linking any
type of surveillance and monitoring sensors and systems into The PGC Consortium System. The
Associates of The PGC Consortium offer many additional types of protection; from Blast Resistant
Walls to Physical Security Guards to Access Identifiers to Intelligent Video Systems to many, many
more…
The PGC Consortium System can utilize a clients existing surveillance
architecture and we can modify or add new surveillance equipment as appropriate. With sensors
linked in, any breach or series of breaches will automatically activate the appropriate event or
incident plans, provide instant access to appropriate supporting data, and distribute this
information instantly to assigned security and management personnel.
